I didn't have the negative experience of many of the other reviews. The furniture in my room was new and it had obviously been renovated recently, however there were signs the renovation was done quick and cheap (bubbles in wallpaper, old surfaces roughly repainted, baseboards in the bathroom were in poor condition) which means that the property will need quite a bit of ongoing maintenance as guests begin to create wear-and-tear. But it really just felt like it was someone's modest one bedroom apartment. As others noted there were some ear plugs provided. There was some construction noise during the day but nothing unusual for Vancouver, though it's possible I got lucky and everyone else on my floor was just very quiet
Great location. Can walk most places. Rooms clean convenient check in and out. Luggage storage on site so you can tour without having to worry about your luggage.
Great stay for first 3 nights on Canadian road trip. Apartment was huge and full of everything that was needed. Good location with nearby food and drink places in minutes walking distance, especially handy after arriving on late night flight and just wanting to grab something quick. Parking is quite tight to get in/out of as is down a back road to the rear of the building, thankfully it wasn’t at full capacity when I stayed so this gave extra room for manoeuvre, but can imagine this would be hard when it is full.
We loved our stay at this hotel, we had a 1 bedroom apartment. Kitchen was great, very well equipped. The luggage storage was super easy and a life saver on check out day. The only thing was the shower pressure was terrible but can put up with that easily when everything else was great. Felt like a safe area compared to some other areas of Vancouver we had been in.
